LENNOXVILLE, Que. – Audi Glass '09, a member of the Bishop's Gaiters lacrosse team from 2005-08, has been signed by the Ohio Machine of Major League Lacrosse. The Machine are entering their first season in the eight-team professional field lacrosse league. Glass was signed to the club's 40-man training camp roster following the league's annual collegiate draft last week.

Glass becomes the second former Gaiter to be active in the MLL, following Mac Allen '07, who played with the Toronto Nationals in 2010.

In his four-year career with the Gaiters, Glass was a team captain, two-time winner of the team's Defensive Player of the Year award, and was named the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association's Most Outstanding Graduating Player and Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2008. Glass was a three-time league all-star, twice as long-stick midfielder, and once as a defender.

After graduating, Glass spent a year in Adelaide, Australia as a coach with the Woodville Warriors lacrosse club. He is currently going into his second year as the first assistant coach with the College of Wooster Fighting Scots, an NCAA Division III lacrosse team in Wooster, Ohio.

The Machine begin their inaugural season on May 5, 2012.
