Montréal, May 14, 2013 – The RSEQ is pleased to announce that its agreement with Radio-Canada has been renewed for another two years.
Radio-Canada will provide live coast-to-coast coverage of nine regular season games as well as a pair of post-season games including the Dunsmore Cup. Live broadcasts will begin on Saturday August 31st 2013.
Former Gaiter standout and two-time RBC Wall of Distinction inductee Mr. Rob Allen died on Saturday after a long battle with cancer. Allen was the epitome of a Bishop’s Gaiter, including long after he left Lennoxville. He was part of the heart and soul of the Bishop’s Gaiters family and will be deeply missed. The Bishop’s Gaiters Department of Athletics and Recreation wish to extend our sympathies to his family, friends and teammates. Rob Allen ’73 will always be a Bishop’s Gaiter. His obituary is below.
More...London, Ont. – Bishop’s Gaiters head coach Kevin Mackey and defensive assistant coach Corey Sly were named as part of the East team coaching staff for the 11th annual East-West bowl set to take place in London, Ontario on Saturday. Mackey and Sly will work under Laval Rouge et Or head coach Glen Constantine who will be at the helm of the East squad. The duo donning the purple and silver will coach fellow Gaiters Alexander Fox, Adrian Clark and Nathan Heather who will be participating in the event set to kick off on Saturday, May 11 at 1 p.m. The CIS release is below.

This year four different sport camps will be offered over four weeks during the summertime. Each camp will be led by one of the Gaiters coaches. More...OTTAWA – Three members of the Bishop’s Gaiters football squad were named to the East-West Bowl rosters on Wednesday. Alexander Fox, Nathan Heather and Adrian Clark were all selected as part of the east squad when they take to the field in London, Ontario on Saturday, May, 11, 2013.
TORONTO – Three Bishop’s Gaiters football players will attend the CFL combine in Toronto from March 22-24, 2013. Ryland Smith and Elie Ngoyi will represent the Gaiters on the defensive side of the ball, while Matt Burke will look to make an impression on the offensive side.
