LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The Montreal Dynamo claimed the Reebok Shoot for the Cure tournament championship after play concluded on Sunday at the Mitchell Gym. The Dynamo downed the host Bishop's Gaiters 69-62 to post a perfect 3-0 record. The Gaiters went 0-3 at the event. In the day's other game, the Toronto Varsity Blues downed their Old Four rivals the Queen's Gaels by the same 69-62 score. Toronto finished at 2-1, while Queen's was 1-2.

Karine Bibeau of the Dynamo was named the Tournament MVP, while the Tournament All-Star team included Marie-Michelle Genois of the Dynamo, the Gaiters' Gabrielle Chamberland, Hanna Koposhynka of Queen's, and Varsity Blues Joanne Medri and Jill Stratton.

LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The Montreal Dynamo senior team are the only unbeaten team after Day 2 of the Reebok Shoot for the Cure tournament at the Mitchell Gym. They improved their record to 2-0 after a 67-62 win over the Queen's Gaels (1-1) in the day's final game. Earlier, the U of T Varsity Blues (0-1) had downed the host Bishop's Gaiters (0-2) 87-60, and Team Blue-Green defeated Team White 79-61 in the Champlain-Sherbrooke Showcase Game.

 
Tournament play concludes on Sunday with a pair of games. The Queen's Gaels and Toronto Varsity Blues will open proceedings at 11 a.m., followed by the Gaiters (3-2, 3-2 CIS) facing the Dynamo at 1 p.m. All games are at the Mitchell Gym, and admission is by donation.

LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The Montreal Dynamo senior team and the Queen's Gaels picked up wins on the first day of action at the Reebok Shoot for the Cure women's basketball tournament at the Mitchell Gym. The Dynamo defeated the U of T Varsity Blues 73-71 in the tournament's opening game, while the Gaels defeated the host Bishop's Gaiters 74-64 in the nightcap.

 
Tournament play resumes on Saturday with three games. At 2 p.m., there will be a "showcase game" featuring Champlain College and the Cégep de Sherbrooke. The Gaiters (3-1, 3-1 CIS, 0-0 Quebec) take on U of T at 4 p.m., with the Queen's-Dynamo game following at 6 p.m. All games are at the Mitchell Gym, and admission is by donation.

LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters Women's Basketball team, in collaboration with the Regional Basketball Development Centre, will host the Reebok Shoot for the Cure tournament from October 14-16 at the Mitchell Gym. This is a return to hosting a tournament at Bishop's, an initiative started by former coach Rod Glipin several years ago.
