The Bishop's Polar Bears women's hockey team posted a 1-2-1 record last weekend (March. 17-18) at the UNB Fredericton tournament, the penultimate event of the Maritime Intercollegiate Women's Hockey Challenge season. The Bears dropped four-point games to the host UNB Red Blazers and the Cape Breton Capers, before rebounding with a 3-1 win over Holland College and a 2-2 tie against Acadia.
"I think we had a good tournament, overall", said Maryse Richard, the Polar Bears' head coach. "We couldn't afford to lose those four-point games; those really hurt us. But I'm proud of how the girls came back in the Cape Breton game and we got better as the weekend went along."
