Without doubt Larry was the most outstanding running back to ever wear a Gaiter uniform. Larry also played varsity hockey making him one of the university’s most outstanding athletes.

After graduation Larry went on to a lengthy nine-year Canadian Football League career while attaining a law degree from McGill.

A past president of the Alumni Association, Larry has become a successful businessman and has served as Commissioner of the CFL, president of the Montreal Alouettes and is presently the publisher of the Montreal Gazette.
