CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Bishop's University women's hockey team beat Boston College 4-2 on Sunday night.  Arianne Charette (Sainte-agathe-des-monts, Que. /The Winchendon School ) was named MVP for the Gaiters, she scored one goal and had one assist.

Coach Bailey's Thoughts:
"Boston College is a well-coached, skilled team," said head coach Brent Bailey. "Our girls worked hard to match their skill with our will and we were fortunate to come out on top. The league looks to be very competitive and it's exciting to get a couple wins. We struggled to get our legs moving in the first period so I have to do a better job getting our girls ready to play coming off a five-hour bus ride.
