Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that is aimed at improving someone’s health by eliminating restrictions in the body to improve range of motion and circulation. The human body is subject to a wide variety of stresses; physical, emotional, environment, etc. and because the body functions as a whole, effects can be seen on the physiological response. An osteopath will use gentle palpation skills to facilitate your wellbeing through manual, visceral and cranial techniques. The goal is mainly to identify and facilitate the release of restrictions or congestion found in the body to allow for improved mobility and circulation. As such, it is beneficial as a preventative form of therapy for chronic, reoccurring or acute issues. Osteopathy is safe for individuals of any age; from infants to the elderly.
