LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters and Concordia Stingers played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon. The Gaiters broke the deadlock in the first half with an
Andréa Boily goal in the 36th minute which stood as the loan goal after the first forty-five. Both teams came out of the break with a new sense of determination and physicality. At the midpoint of the second half, substitute Kyara D'Annessa evened the score for the Stingers. Despite some final minute opportunities for the Gaiters including a free kick that was deflected off of the goalpost, the score remained and the game ended in a tie. With her second goal of the season, Boily was named the game MVP for the purple and white.
Bishop's currently sits in fifth position in the RSEQ standings with a 2-3-2 record.
