LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters women's hockey team is back on the ice this weekend. On Friday, the Gaiters will travel to face the Montreal Carabins at 7PM while Concordia will visit Lennoxville on Sunday for a 3:30PM puck drop.
Bishop's sits at 2-4-0-0 in the standings after three weeks of competition. Montreal holds a 2-3-0-1 record after six games while Concordia is 3-2-1-0 after dropping Carleton 8-1 last Friday and losing a contest with Ottawa on Sunday.
FRIDAY @ MONTREAL
The Gaiters and Carabins will meet for the second time this season on Friday night in Montreal. Bishop's won the first contest in exciting fashion, defeating the Carabins by a score of 4-3 in the Gaiters' home opener on Halloween Sunday. The Carabins and Gaiters currently sit in fourth and fifth, respectively, in the conference standings.
SUNDAY vs CONCORDIA
Concordia will travel to Lennoxville for a Sunday afternoon matinee match-up with Bishop's at 3:30PM. The Gaiters and Stingers faced-off twice in the pre-season and once in the RSEQ regular season. Concordia took the first contest by a score of 4-0. The Gaiters will look to even the series on Sunday.
