LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters lost a heartbreaker to the UQTR Patriotes in Friday night RSEQ women's soccer action at Coulter Field.
Marie-Pierre Beaudoin (Ottawa, ON/John McCrae S.S.) opened the scoring for the Gaiters with a high shot from left field off of a pass from
Kayla Kyle (Montreal, QC/John Abbott College) in the 27th minute. The Patriotes were awarded a penalty kick at the 42nd minute and found the back of the net to even the score. Both teams came out of the break refreshed and were evenly-matched throughout the second 45. In the final moments of extra time, UQTR broke the deadlock to make the final score 2-1 in favour of the visitors.

The Gaiters are back in action on Sunday as they travel to Montreal to face the Carabins at 1PM on the first road game of the year for the purple and silver.
