9/24/2021 3:00:00 PM

LENNOXVILLE, Que. - Coming off of last week's season opening win in Kingston, Ont., the Bishop's Gaiters lacrosse team is back on the road on Sunday and looks to continue their winning ways. The Gaiters head to Ottawa to face the Carleton Ravens in the second week of CUFLA action. Game time is 2PM on Sunday.

The Gaiters opened their season by defeating the Queen's Gaels 16-7 on the road last weekend. Through one game, Sam Firth (Ottawa, ON/Nepean H.S.) leads the Gaiters with five goals and five assists and Hank Wulder (Victoria, BC/Claremont S.S.) is right behind with three goals. The Eastern Conference is split with the Gaiters and Gee-Gees sitting at 1-0 in the standings while Queen's and Carleton sit without a win after the first week of competition.

This week, the Gaiters look to increase their point total on the road and maintain their spot in the standings. The Ravens opened their season last weekend with a 11-6 loss to the Ottawa Gee-Gees.
