The 2022 RSEQ season came to a close for our women's rugby team on Sunday. They capped it off with a 55-7 victory over McGill. There was another bright spot for the Gaiters on Sunday as Melody Leggett was named to the RSEQ's second-team all stars.

Melody's importance to the team this season did not always show up on the game sheet. She often led the Gaiters in tackles and defenders beaten, and although she didn't score every try, opposing team's and their coaches took notice. She suffered an injury that held her out of a few games, but miraculously made it back for their consolation playoff game against Sherbrooke, where she was a force yet again. Melody finished the season with 1 try, 2 game MVP's and countless tackles, defenders beaten and metres made.
