The women's hockey team hosted the Carleton Ravens on Friday evening in what was surely going to be an interesting matchup between the two teams. Both goalies were stout through the first 40 minutes as we had a scoreless game, despite 17 shots on goal from each side. The third period was much of the same, but Carleton opened the scoring very early in the final period. The Gaiters tied the game with 1:23 to go in the 3rd period and finished it to go with 1:36 in overtime. The Gaiters move to 4-1-1 on the season and 2-0 at home.

… Maude Pepin tied the game with 1:23 to go in the third period.
… Justine Turcotte scored the game-winner with 1:36 to go in the extra frame
… Aglae Rene de Cotret was outstanding yet again, as she stopped 24 of 25 shots.
Next Up
The Gaiters will host the Concordia Stingers on Sunday, Nov. 13th. Faceoff is set for 3:30PM.
