LENNOXVILLE, Que. – In what will be the busiest weekend of Gaiters' action in 2022, basketball, hockey, indoor soccer, and cheerleading will all be in action with some crucial outcomes in the balance!
Basketball has a critical home-and-home series with UQAM on Thursday and Saturday in the RSEQ regular season finale while hockey gets the second round of playoffs going on the same days. In the first competition of the season, cheerleading will make its 2022 debut and indoor soccer will face cross-town rival, the Vert et Or, on Sunday in the second last game of the season.
Women's Basketball
With only two games remaining on the RSEQ schedule, the 7-3 Gaiters have secured a spot in the post-season but whether that game will be hosted in Lennoxville or not is still in question. This weekend, the Gaiters will look to lock in one of the top two spots in the conference in order to secure a home semi-final contest. The Gaiters will start the weekend on the road as they head to Montreal for a 6PM tip-off with UQAM (5-5) before returning home to Mitchell Gym on Saturday to close out the regular season against the Citadins.

Bishop's is led by the fourth leading scorer in the nation,
Amaiquen Siciliano (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Velez Sarsfield), who averages 20.4 points per game. Siciliano also ranks eighth in the country in assist to turnover ratio with a 2.3 and in assists with a total of 87. Amaiquen sits fifth in U SPORTS in minutes per game where she averages 34.2. Junior guard,
Jennifer Louis (Montreal, Que./Cegep Edouard-Montpetit), and rookie forward,
Victoria Gauna (Mendoza, Argentina/), are also U SPORTS leaders in minutes per game averaging 34.1 (#6) and 34.9 (#4) minutes, respectively.
