The women's basketball team returned to Mitchell Gymnasium for the first time in 2023 on Saturday night. The Concordia Stingers were in town for a rematch of Thursday night's comeback win for Bishop's, and they came with a vengeance. The first half was all about the Stingers as they scored at will, while the Gaiters offensive struggles from Thursday night seemed to carry over. The third quarter, though, was the complete opposite for Bishop's. The offense came alive and the Gaiters outscored the Stingers 19-2 in the quarter. The game balanced out in the fourth, and Concordia escaped with a 71-68 victory.
