The Gaiters hosted the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Sunday afternoon. The stakes were high as Bishop's trailed Ottawa by 4 points in the standings coming into the game. The first 2 periods were quiet, with both team's goalies stopping almost everything. The Gaiters found the back of the net with two seconds left in the frame, and took an important lead into the third. Ottawa cracked the code roughly half way through the period, and poured it on with two late goals. The Gee-Gees pulled out a 3-1 win.

… Aglae Rene de Cotret had 30 saves in this one 
… Ottawa's Abigail Moloughney scored 2 goals 

Next Up 
The Gaiters will be on the road to Ottawa on Friday, Feb. 3rd to face off with the Carleton Ravens in a big matchup for playoff implications. Puck drop is set for 7pm.
