On a night celebrating Bishop's Principal Michael Goldbloom, the Gaiters matched the energy in a packed Jane & Eric Molson Arena. The two teams battled in the first period and went to the intermission tied up at 2. Both teams slowed it down in the second period but the Gaiters found an opportunity and took a 3-2 lead into the break. The third period was all-Gaiters as they found the back of the net twice and put the game on ice. A big 5-2 win for the Gaiters heading into the final 3 tune-up games of the season.

… Gabriella Goodall (Gloucester, Ont./Ontario Hockey Academy) found the back of the net twice in the third period 
… Majorie Bolduc (Saint-Ephrem-de-Beauce, Que./Champlain-Lennoxville) had 3 helpers 
… Catherine Berger-Dubé had 2 assists in the win 
… Charley Wing (Huntsville, Ont./Mother Teresa C.S.S.) stopped 23 of 25 shots  
… The Gaiters had 9 players on the board

The Gaiters will have a quick turnaround, as they host the Montreal Carabins on Sunday, Feb. 12th. Puck drop is set for 3:30pm at Jane & Eric Molson Arena.
