A game cancelled due to weather in January was rescheduled and saw the Gaiters travel to Ottawa to take on the Gee-Gees for a Wednesday night tilt. Playoffs in the RSEQ are already set in stone, and both the Gaiters and Gee-Gees are in. The first period gave the impression that both teams were comfortable with where they are at respectively, hence the 0-0 scoreline after the opener. The second period flipped the script, though, and showed that both teams wanted to win regardless of the implications. Both teams got on the board, but the Gaiters trailed 2-1 after two. Just over three minutes into the third, Regan Garreau (/John Abbott College) sprung Neleh Vigneau Sargeant (Dartmouth, N.S./Lockview H.S.) with a tape-to-tape pass to give Neleh a breakaway and she made no mistake. The game was tied for another five minutes before the Gee-Gees scored short-handed and that would be the winner. Ottawa added a late insurance marker to take a 4-2 victory.
How it Happened...

… Regan Garreau (/John Abbott College) and Gabriella Goodall (Gloucester, Ont./Ontario Hockey Academy) each had assists
