Box Score MONTREAL – Kalina Alexander-Renaud's (Montreal, QC) double-double paced the Bishop's Gaiters in an 81-59 victory over the McGill Martlets on Thursday night in Montreal.
 
The win moves Bishop's to 5-5 while McGill falls to 5-4. It also gives the Gaiters a 2-1 lead in the season series that wraps up on Saturday in Lennoxville.  Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. with tickets available at www.gaiters.ca/tickets.
 
Alexander-Renaud's 17 points and 10 rebounds led the way while four other Gaiters reached double figures. Sandra Mbekou (Longueuil, QC/Cegep Edouard-Montpetit) added 14 off the bench while Eve Atchampone (Trois-Rivieres, QC/CEGEP St-Jean), Marianne Boithias (Noirétable, FRA) and Victoria Gauna (Mendoza, Argentina) scored 12, 11 and 10 points respectively.
 
Seyna Diggs scored 11 in the losing cause.
 
Bishop's never trailed and outscored the Martlet 48-20 in the paint. The Gaiters also had 12 steals led by Alexander-Renaud's five.
