The Bishop's Gaiters men's and women's golf teams wrapped up their RSEQ season at the 2025 RSEQ Championship, held at Club de Golf Marthelinois. Bishop's officially secured a spot at Nationals with both teams finishing in the top three of their respective divisions.
 
Men's Team: Bronze and Bound for Nationals
The Gaiters men's team claimed third place overall, finishing with a team total of 930, just behind Laval and Montréal. Leading the charge was Shawn Robillard (Sherbrooke, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) who finished 12^th as an individual, highlighted by his 3- under 69 during the second tournament.
 
Landen Harison (Vernon, BC/Columbia Bible College), Samuel Brenton Gagnon (Quebec City, QC/), and William Cote (Québec, QC/Bishop's College School) contributed to the team's scoring depth, placing 14^th, 15^th and 17^th respectively.
 
Rounding out the lineup, Scott Loach (Lennoxville, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) placed 18^th. On the individual side, Felix V.Desautels (Rosemère, QC/) followed in 41^st, Kyle Smith (St. Stephen, NB/St. Stephen H.S.) placed 44^th , Felix Wilson (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata H.S.) finished 49^th  and Michael Brazel (Ayer's Cliff, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) completed the group in 52^nd .
 
Women's Team: Silver Finish in a Tight Race
On the women's side, Bishop's secured second place with a team total of 727, trailing only Laval. Bri Allan (Hamilton, ON/Ancaster H.S.) led the way with her second last round score of 74 that helped solidify the team's podium finish. She placed 4^th individually. Following closely behind her was Avery Mack (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata H.S.) who placed in 5^th and shot a season-best 75 on day-2 of the RSEQ championship. Meaghan Patterson (Stanstead, QC/) placed 7^th and Macy Louvet-Maik (Beaconsfield, QC/John Abbott College) who placed 16^th.
 
For the first time in program history, the Bishop's Gaiters women's golf team posted the lowest team score in a single round. Their combined score of 237 in the third round of the McGill Invitational edged out perennial powerhouse Laval by a single stroke.
 
Looking Ahead: National Championship
With both teams qualifying, Bishop's will now prepare for the National Championship where they'll face the top university and college golf programs from across Canada in June. This is the 2^nd straight year both men's and women's golf teams have qualified for Nationals, and only 1 of 2 schools in Quebec to do so.

Le golf de Bishop's s'illustre : qualification pour le championnat national
 
Les équipes masculine et féminine de golf des Gaiters de Bishop's ont conclu leur saison RSEQ lors du Championnat RSEQ 2025, tenu au Club de Golf Marthelinois. Grâce à une performance solide de part et d'autre, Bishop's a officiellement décroché sa place aux Nationaux, les deux équipes ayant terminé parmi les trois meilleures de leur division respective.
 
L'équipe masculine des Gaiters a terminé au troisième rang du classement général avec un score cumulatif de 930, derrière Laval et Montréal. Shawn Robillard (Sherbrooke, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) a mené l'équipe en se classant 12e au classement individuel, notamment grâce à une excellente ronde de 69 (-3) lors du deuxième tournoi.
 
Landen Harison (Vernon, BC/Columbia Bible College), Samuel Breton Gagnon et William Côté ont également contribué à la profondeur de l'équipe, se classant respectivement 14e, 15e et 17e.
Pour compléter l'alignement, Scott Loach (Lennoxville, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) a pris la 18e place. Du côté individuel, Félix Desautels a terminé 41e, Kyle Smith (St. Stephen, NB/St. Stephen H.S.) 44e, Félix Wilson 49e et Michael Brazel (Ayer's Cliff, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) a complété le groupe en 52e position.
 
Du côté féminin, Bishop's a décroché la deuxième place avec un score d'équipe de 727, n'étant devancée que par Laval. Bri Allan (Hamilton, ON/Ancaster H.S.) a mené l'équipe grâce à une avant-dernière ronde de 74 qui a joué un rôle clé dans la confirmation de la place sur le podium. Elle a terminé 4e au classement individuel. Juste derrière elle, Avery Mack (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata H.S.) a pris la 5e place avec une meilleure ronde de la saison (75) lors de la deuxième journée du championnat RSEQ. Meaghan Patterson (Stanstead, QC/) s'est classée 7e, tandis que Macy Louvet-Maik (Beaconsfield, QC/John Abbott College) a terminé 16e.

Pour la première fois dans l'histoire du programme, l'équipe féminine de golf des Gaiters a enregistré le meilleur score d'équipe lors d'une ronde. Leur total combiné de 237 lors de la troisième ronde de l'Invitation McGill leur a permis de devancer Laval, une puissance établie, par un seul coup.
 
Avec la qualification des deux équipes, Bishop's se prépare maintenant pour le Championnat national, où les meilleures formations universitaires et collégiales du pays s'affronteront en juin. Il s'agit de la deuxième année consécutive où les équipes masculine et féminine de golf des Gaiters se qualifient pour les Nationaux — une réalisation partagée par seulement une autre école au Québec.
