CODY TRIGGS AWARD
The
Cody Triggs Award is given annually to a
BU men’s rugby player who is spirited, hardworking and skillful. It is accompanied by a $500 cheque courtesy of the Triggs family.
Cody Triggs died tragically in the fall of 2005 during his third season at BU. The talented flanker was the life of the team on and off the field. A quiet leader who led by example during games, Cody was undersized at his position yet made up for it with speed and good rugby IQ. Adam Kleeburger, 35 caps for Canada, two world cups and a professional in the UK recalled Triggs as his best Captain ever: the two were High School teammates in White Rock, BC. Quite the Nod to Triggs.
