Drew Pollock officially moved into his role as Lacrosse General Manager and assistant coach in 2011; however his ties to Bishop’s date back to 2002 and ties to the game of lacrosse long before then.
A native of Port Coquitlam, B.C., Pollock started playing lacrosse at the age of four. He came to Bishop’s in 2002 to don the purple and silver and has been in the Eastern Townships ever since. He earned a B.A. and B. Ed from Bishop’s when he graduated in 2007.
On the sidelines, Pollock started coaching when he was 16 years old. His numerous coaching stints included time with the B.C. u-16 team. In 2000 he was named PCMLA Coach of the Year. After graduating and finishing his playing career, Pollock started coaching with the Gaiters in 2009 before moving into his current role.
Pollock teaches at Alexander Galt Regional High School and lives in Sherbrooke with wife Laura, and children Lily and Charlie.
