They held Laval to seven points in the first frame and scored 23 themselves, the most they have scored in the first quarter against any RSEQ opponent this season. The Lady Gaiters struggled to score in the second quarter going on a five-minute hiatus, which let Laval come within five at halftime. Paquin (Magog, Que.) opened the scoring after break with a three pointer but multiple turnovers harmed the Gaiters and let Laval crawl back to take the lead 40-37 after the third. The fourth frame saw the Gaiters lose momentum and Laval took advantage of this. The Rouge et Or won 54-43.
