SHERBROOKE, Que. – First place is on the line in RSEQ men's rugby action on Friday, Oct. 24.  The Concordia Stingers visit the Bishop's Gaiters at 7 p.m. on Coulter Field. The Gaiters women's soccer squad will wrap up their season with a pair of road games, the lacrosse team has a home-and-home weekend with Carleton and men's basketball is in action at the Jack Donahue Tournament in Ottawa.
 
The Bishop's Gaiters men's rugby team will be well rested when they step onto the pitch Friday night; they have not played since Oct. 8.  They will look to get rid of the rust quickly as it becomes their biggest game of the year.  Bishop's (3-1-1, 17 points) takes on Concordia (4-1-1, 21 points). The Stingers currently sit atop the RSEQ standings having played one more game than Bishop's. Both teams are coming off victories over the Sherbrooke Vert et Or (1-5-0).  The Gaiters and Stingers met in Montreal on September 14.  In a close contest at the half, Concordia pulled away after the break to a 34-21 victory.  Bishop's will look to return the favour on Friday night on Coulter Field.  Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
 
Women's soccer (1-10-1) travels to Quebec City on Friday night to face the No. 3 Laval Rouge et Or (11-1-0).  Bishop's fell 4-0 to Laval on home soil in September.  The Gaiters wrap up their 2014 campaign on Sunday when they are in Montreal to face the No. 9 Carabins (7-1-4). The Gaiters and Carabins battled in Lennoxville in early September with the visitors sneaking out a 2-0 victory.
 
Men's lacrosse (8-2) has already clinched a home playoff game in the CULFA East. They wrap up the regular season with a home-and-home contest against Carleton (6-4).  The two squads' faceoff in the nation's capital on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. and close out the weekend on Sunday at 2 p.m. on Coulter Field.
 
The Gaiters men's basketball team will play a pair of exhibition games in the Jack Donahue tournament hosted by the Ottawa Gee-Gees. Bishop's tips off against the University of Toronto on Friday night at 8 p.m. and then the host Gee-Gees on Saturday at 7 p.m.
