SHERBROOKE, Que.  – A trip to the Baggataway Cup is on the line this weekend as the Bishop's University Gaiters lacrosse squad host the Trent Excalibur in a CUFLA East play-off match up on Saturday Nov.1^st at 7:30 p.m. on Coulter Field.  Men's rugby, men's basketball and women's hockey are also in action over the weekend.
 
The Gaiters (10-2) finished second to McGill (12-0) in the CUFLA East Standings.  Trent finished their season at 4-8 and in fifth spot.  Bishop's beat Trent in their two regular season meetings, at home 12-6 and in Peterborough 9-7. 
 
The men's rugby team (4-1-1) will play their second last game of the regular season on Sunday against Montreal at 2 p.m.  Bishop's currently sits in second place in the RSEQ behind McGill (4-1-2), while Montreal (2-4-0) is in fourth. 
 
Men's basketball will cap off their exhibition schedule on Saturday against NCAA Division III Plattsburgh State at 5 p.m. in Plattsburgh, NY. 
 
The Polar Bears hockey club will take on NEA Dynamie Estrie at 5:15 p.m. at the W.B. Scott Arena on Sunday.  This is a rematch of two weeks ago where Bishop's won 3-1.
