SHERBOOKE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters men's rugby team opens their home schedule on Sunday on Coulter Field, it will be the penultimate contest for the purple and white this weekend.
Women's soccer kicks off the festivities across town at Sherbrooke on Friday at 6 p.m. Football faces Laval at home on Saturday at 1 p.m. on Coulter Field and the Lacrosse team is in Ottawa for a game with Carleton at 6 p.m. Sunday features lacrosse taking on Queen's in Kingston, Ont. at 12 p.m., men's rugby hosting Sherbrooke at 1 p.m., women's soccer at Concordia also at 1 p.m. and the weekend is capped off with women's rugby hosting Ottawa at 3 p.m.
Women's SoccerBishop's (0-2-0) enters their second weekend RSEQ University soccer action on Friday against the Sherbrooke Vert et Or (2-0-0). Last year Sherbrooke swept the season series between the cross-town foes, a trend Bishop's will look to change on Friday. The Gaiters play their second game of the weekend on Sunday in Montreal against the Concordia Stingers (1-1-0).
FootballThe Bishop's Gaiters football squad (0-2) is back on Coulter Field on Saturday at 1 p.m. against the No. 2 Laval Rouge et Or. Bishop's will look to turn their fortunes around as they prepare for one of the country's best teams.

LacrosseAfter a successful road trip to open the season a week ago, the Bishop's Gaiters men's lacrosse team looks to duplicate that success on a very similar route. The Gaiters (2-0) are in the nation's capital on Saturday at 6 p.m. for a tilt with the Carleton Ravens (1-1). A quick turnaround will see Bishop's in Kingston to face the Queen's Gaels (2-0) on Sunday at 12 p.m. Bishop's swept both teams in a pair of meetings in 2014.
Men's RugbyThe Gaiters men's rugby team will step onto Coulter Field for the first time since their 2014 RSEQ semi-final loss to the McGill Redmen. They face cross-town rival Sherbrooke on Sunday at 1 p.m. Bishop's (0-1) opened their campaign on the road last week. Despite losing to the Concordia Stingers, the Gaiters were able to secure a bonus point while Sherbrooke fell to McGill 19-5 in their first contest of the year.
Women's RugbyRookies are the name of the game for the Bishop's Gaiters women's rugby team (0-3).
Erika Scott (Dewittville, Que.) leads the way having scored four tries to date. The Gaiters will have their hands full in Lennoxville on Sunday at 3 p.m. when they face the No.3 Ottawa Gee-Gees.
