Box Score The Bishop's Gaiters women's soccer team honoured eight graduating seniors prior to their final kickoff of the 2016 campaign. Those seniors led the charge in their bid to upset the No.1 Laval Rouge et Or in Lennoxville on Sunday afternoon. The bid ultimately came up short and the nation's top team snuck away with a 1-0 victory.
A lone goal from Marianne Franco in the 10th minute was enough for the Rouge et Or, who prevented any shots from being taken on their keeper. In turn they fired 13 shots on Gaiters' graduating goalie
Rebecca Bensimon. Bensimon turned away 12 of them en route to being named Bishop's game MVP.
