WSO: Gaiters drop opener in Quebec City

SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters women's soccer team lost their 2016 debut 4-0 to the No.2 Laval Rouge et Or on Friday night in Quebec City. The game also marked Bishop's head coach Paul Ballard's first CIS contest.  Bishop's fell to 0-1 while Laval improved to 2-0.

How it happened
- The Rouge et Or scored a pair of goals in the first half and added two more after the break.
- The reigning RSEQ Champion Rouge et Or controlled the majority of possession.
- Gaiters' Keeper Rebecca Bensimon was outstanding and named Bishop's game MVP.
