Gaiters Get Stung in Montreal

MONTREAL, Que. – On Sunday afternoon in Montreal, the Gaiters fell 3-0 to the Concordia Stingers in RSEQ women's soccer action. 
 
Need to Know:
Taylor Straw (Ottawa, Ont./St. Pius X H.S.) was named MVP for the Gaiters. Concordia goals were scored in the 2nd minute by Claudia Asselin, the 28th minute by Alice Grandpierre and in the 47th minute by Sarah Humes. 
Mehana Heins (Ottawa, Ont./Merivale S.S.) made 8 saves, on 11 shots by the Stingers.  Bishop's was only able to get three shots of their own on target, by Lindsay Moore (Lennoxville, Que./Champlain College Lennoxville), Janna Carroll (Ottawa, Ont./Woodroffe H.S.) and  Frédérique Rivard.    

Next Up:
Bishop's (1-5-2) will host Laval (6-0-1) on Friday Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. on Coulter Field.
