SHERBROOKE, Que – Keeper Danielle Desrochers (North Vancouver, B.C./Handsworth S.S.) made 14 saves but it was not enough as the No.1 ranked Laval Rouge et Or topped the Bishop's Gaiters 5-0 on Friday night on Coulter Field in RSEQ University women's soccer action.
 
How it Happened:
The Gaiters defense came out firing on all cylinders tonight shutting down a heavy attack from the Rouge et Or forwards. Desrochers played a spectacular game in face of the Laval pressure. It was not until the 31^st minute of the match that Joelle Gosselin found the back of the net on a second chance rebound. Only one minute after that Mireille Patry for Laval found the back of the net on what look like a rudimentary cross. The second half was nearly identical the Gaiter defense came out strong, but two quick goals in the 76^th and 77^th minute for the Rouge et Or brought the score to 4-0. Laval would add one more goal in the 90^th minute to end the match 5-0 for the Rouge et Or.
