MONTREAL – The women's rugby team closed out their 2017 season tonight falling 123-5 to the Concordia Stingers in Montreal.
How it happened:
The Stingers shut out the Gaiters in the first half, they led 80-0 at halftime.
Taylor Merrithew (Kingston, Ont./Bishop's College School) scored her second try of the year and the lone try for Bishop's in the second half. Concordia took the contest 123-5.
Gina Patenaude (West Bolton, Que./Champlain College-St. Lambert) was named MVP for the Gaiters.
