MONTREAL – The Gaiters lacrosse team was not able to hold off McGill's attack despite
Sam Fontaine (Cornwall, Ont./École Secondaire la Citadelle)'s well-timed goal to put the Gaiters within one in the fourth frame. The
Redmen pulled away and took the contest 10-7.

Coaches Corner:
"Our defense played okay for stretches but had some letdowns," said head coach Rob Engelken. "We had far too many senseless penalties. It was probably one of our offense's worst games. I guess we need to coach better. Yet we were still in it well into the 4th quarter. We have a ton of injuries that we need to mend and we'll start playoff prep tomorrow."
