SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Gaiters lacrosse team wraps up their regular season this weekend as they host the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday night at 7 p.m. and the Carleton Ravens on Sunday morning at 11 a.m.
The Records:
Bishop's (7-3) is coming off a 10-7 loss to McGill (10-1) on Wednesday night in Montreal. The Gaiters and Redmen were evenly matched through three quarters but Bishop's couldn't hold off McGill's attack in the fourth frame.
Eric Mawdsley (Innisfil, Ont./Trinity Pawling School) and
Sam Fontaine (Cornwall, Ont./École Secondaire la Citadelle) each had two goals in the contest.
Ottawa (4-7) and Carleton (1-9) played Monday night with Ottawa taking the contest 14-6.

Bishop's beat the Gee-Gees 15-11 in Ottawa.
Mathew Paterson (Montreal. Que./John Abbott College) scored four goals and
Joel Wright (Newmarket, Ont./Sir William Mulock S.S.) and Mawdsley both had hat-tricks to add to the Gaiters total.
Last time we played Carleton:
The Gaiters beat Carleton 21-3 in Ottawa. Freshman
Samuel Firth (Ottawa, Ont./) chalked up nine points and senior
Simon Winquist (Sherbrooke, Que./Champlain-Lennoxville) scored five times.
Coaches Corner:
"We are excited for our final home games of the season and to recognize our two graduating players Cam and Simon," said head coach Rob Engelken. "We will definitely give some playing time to reserves to give them experience. Our primary focus is getting healthy and preparing for our trip to Trent."
"With our playoff . With a We will likely be resting some guys with injuries and playing some of our reserves to give them some experience in preparation for the playoffs next weekend."
Playoffs:
The Gaiters (7-3) will finish third in the CUFLA EAST behind McGill (10-1) and Trent (10-2). They will travel to Peterborough on Oct. 28 to face Trent at 6:30 p.m. in a CUFLA East playoff.
