SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters women's hockey team is set to embark on their new era of American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). They travel to Burlington, Vt. to face the University of Vermont on Saturday at 9:40 p.m.
Bishop's enters the ACHA officially for the 2017-18 season. It all gets underway on Saturday night.
For Bishop's
The Gaiters add seven players to their roster for the new season. Highlighting the returning group is last year's Rookie of the Year
Stephanie Cunningham (Markham, Ont./Bill Crothers) and leading scorer
Kayla Letouzel (L'Orignal, Ont./St. Mary's).
For UVM
For UVM it will be their fourth game of the year, they boast a 3-0-0-0 record (two via forfeit).

"Everyone is very exited to begin the next phase of developing an elite women's hockey program at Bishops University," said
Brent Bailey, Gaiters head coach. "Past teams have done a great job paving the way to this point and the girls are working hard to ensure this is a team the Bishops Community can be proud of."
Next Up
After Saturday's game the Gaiters are back on the ice on Nov. 12 when they head to Chestnut Hill, Mass. to take on Boston College.
