SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters women's hockey team takes on the University of Connecticut on Dec. 3 at 4:45 p.m. in Storrs, Conn. in ACHA action.
Bishop's Breakdown;
Bishop's 2-1-0 fell to Northeastern University 3-2 in overtime on Nov. 19 in Boston. Rookie
Callia Spooner (Ottawa, Ont. ) was named MVP for the Gaiters; she scored the tying goal in the third period to send the game to overtime.
Connecticut Commentary:
Connecticut sits 1-4-1 in the ACHA. They are coming off a 4-3 win over the University of New Hampshire on Nov. 12.
Coaches Comments:
"This is our last game before the break and it's a big one for us," said head coach
Brent Bailey. "Unfortunately we got a little banged up the last two weeks and are not travelling at 100%, but I have confidence that the girls will play hard. Each day we get better and harder to play against. UCONN is a very good team, but I like our chances."

The Gaiters are back in action on Jan. 13, 2018 at home against Northeastern University at 3:30 p.m.
