SHERBROOKE, Que – The Bishop's Gaiters women's basketball team will host the No. 10 Ryerson Rams, the No.2 McGill Martlets and the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds for the Gaiters' exhibition Christmas tournament on Dec. 29th and 30th in Mitchell gym.

December 29, 2 p.m. - #10 Ryerson vs #2 McGill
December 29, 4 p.m. - Bishop's vs UNB
December 30, 1 p.m. - #2 McGill vs UNB
December 30, 3 p.m. – Bishop's vs #10 Ryerson

Bishop's Breakdown:
Bishop's is 3-2 at holiday break. The Gaiters were last on the court on Dec. 1 when they fell to No. 5 Laval, 57-52 in Mitchell gym. Captain,
Mara Marchizotti (Buenos Aires, Argentina/) led the way for the home team; she chalked up a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Ashley Milhomme (Repentigny, Que./Collège Montmorency) added 12 for Bishop's in the losing cause and was the only other Gaiter in double figures.
Martlet Match-up:
McGill is 3-1 and sits No.2 in the U SPORTS standings. Their last outing was against Bishop's on Nov. 25, with the Martlets taking the contest 74-51. Alex Kiss-Rusk led her team with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Varsity Reds' Rundown:
UNB is 5-3 through to the holiday break. In the Varsity Reds last outing they split a pair with Memorial University (5-3). Memorial took the first contest 75-65 and UNB won the second 85-55. Fifth year forward Hannah Currie from Collingwood, Ont. had 14 points in the first game and 17 points in the second.
Ryerson Round-up:
The Rams are 8-2; they have not lost since Nov. 4
th. Senior forward, Sofia Paska leads Ryerson with 20.1 points per game.
