THIS WEEK: The Bishop's Gaiters women's rugby team (0-2) continues their homestand this Friday night as they take on the No. 2-ranked Laval Rouge et Or (2-0) at Coulter Field. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
THE RECORDS: The Gaiters have dropped their first two games, to Carleton and Sherbrooke. Laval, meanwhile, sits atop the Quebec university rugby union women's standings with a 2-0 mark, after an opening win over Ottawa and a 108-7 demolition of the McGill Martlets.

LAST TIME OUT: The Gaiters had their home opener spoiled as they fell, 47-12, to the Sherbrooke Vert & Or on Sunday afternoon.
Taylor Merrithew (Kingston, Ont./Bishop's College School) and
Erika Scott (Dewittville, Que./John Abbott College) each scored tries for the Gaiters, while
Katie Quinn (Rigaud, Que./John Abbott College) added a conversion.
THE MIGHTY QUINN: Quinn, a second-year fly half, is leading the Gaiters with seven points so far this year. Merrithew, Scott and Norris are behind her on five points each. Norris scored a penalty goal and a conversion in the Carleton game.
WHEN LAST WE MET: The Gaiters fell, 111-7, to the Rouge et Or on Oct. 1 in Quebec City.
