OTTAWA – It was "move-in day" across the country for university campuses and to mark the occasion the Bishop's University women's rugby team made their move to Ottawa for an RSEQ season-opening tilt with the Carleton Ravens.  In the end Bishop's was overwhelmed by the host Ravens by a final of 50-10.
 
Gaiters Stats:
- Emily Norris (Stanstead, Que./Stanstead College) kicked a penalty in the 23^rd minute.
- Katie Quinn (Rigaud, Que./John Abbott College) scored a try in the 37^th minute; Norris was successful on the convert
 
Next up:
Bishop's (0-1) is next in action on Sunday, Sept. 10^th at 2 p.m. on Coulter Field when the Sherbrooke Vert et Or (0-0) make the cross-town trip. Sherbrooke opens their campaign this Monday against the Montreal Carabins.
