THIS WEEK: The Bishop's Gaiters women's soccer team (0-2-2) is back at Coulter Field for two games this weekend. On Friday, they open the annual Homecoming Friday tripleheader as they host the No. 6-ranked Montreal Carabins, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. On Monday, it's a local derby for the Gaiters, as they host the Sherbrooke Vert & Or in an 8 p.m. start.
THE RECORDS: The Gaiters come into the game with an 0-2-2 mark and are tied for 7th in the RSEQ women's soccer league. On Friday, they got a late equalizer to pick up a 1-1 draw with the UQAM Citadins. On Sunday, they were shut out 4-0 by the UQTR Patriotes. Montreal is second in the conference with a 2-0-2 record, while Sherbrooke is fourth, at 1-1-2.

LAST WEEK: On Friday,
Sarah-Kim Bergeron (Calgary, Alta./Bishop Carroll S.S.) scored on a free kick in the 88th minute to pull the Gaiters into a 1-1 draw against the UQAM Citadins at Coulter Field. Laurence Martel had scored in the 30th minute for UQAM.
Mehana Heins (Ottawa, Ont./Merivale S.S.) made eight saves and was named the Gaiters' MVP. On Sunday, the Gaiters' two-game undefeated streak came to a halt in a 4-0 loss at UQTR. Four different Patriotes found the net as the Gaiters were outshot 14-4. Heins made 10 saves for the Gaiters, while
Aidan McGillis (Vankleek Hill, Ont./Vankleek Hill Collegiate) took player of the game honours.

Mehana Heins (Ottawa, Ont./Merivale S.S.) is second in the RSEQ with 33 saves in four games, trailing only Arianne Cloux of UQTR (35).

WHEN LAST WE MET THE VERT & OR: On Oct. 23, 2016, the Gaiters fell 4-1 to the Vert & Or in Sherbrooke.
Megan Marchei (Montreal, Que./John Abbott College) had the Gaiters' sole goal, while
Mehana Heins (Ottawa, Ont./Merivale S.S.) made five saves.

UP NEXT: After this weekend's action, the Gaiters head to Montreal twice next weekend. They will visit the McGill Martlets on Friday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m., followed by the Concordia Stingers on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m.
