PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – The Gaiters lacrosse team fell 16-9 in CUFLA East action to the Trent Excalibur in Peterborough, Ont. 

How it happened
Bishop's took a quick 3-0 lead to start the game but Trent came back to score eight unanswered goals.  They led 8-3 at halftime.  The Gaiters fought their way back to within one in the third frame however, the Excalibur pulled away again.  Trent was too much for the Gaiters as they took the contest 16-9.

"We played okay for 40 minutes and didn't play our game for 40 minutes.? We can't do that against a team as talented as Trent.  
We will recover and will hopefully come out and play our game for 80 minutes tomorrow at Queens."
