Quebec City - Ashley Milhomme (Repentigny, Que./Cegep de Montmorency) led the Gaiters with 18 points, but it was not enough to pull off the upset as the Gaiters fell 73-58 to the No. 1 Laval Rouge et Or on Thursday night in Quebec City. 
 
Q1: Bishop's 20-17 Laval
Both Bishop's and Laval struggled from the field early on but started to hit shots as the first quarter came to an end.  Neither team was able to grab momentum yet. 
 
Q2: Laval 34-30 Bishop's
The second frame saw more back and forth action, but Laval closed the half on a bit of run and took some momentum into the locker room. 
 
Q3: Laval 56-46 Bishop's
Laval continued to build off their momentum from the end of the second quarter as they started to pull away, but the Gaiters fought hard to keep the game within reach.

Q4: Laval 73-58 Bishop's
Both teams picked up momentum as the Gaiters cut the lead down to three at one point, but Laval responded with a run of their own to extend their lead back up to 15 to take the contest.
 
Next up
The Gaiters will host the McGill Martlets on Saturday night in Mitchell Gym, in the final Gaiters' women's basketball action before the holiday break.  Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
