SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's University women's hockey team is back on the ice this weekend in ACHA action against the University of Massachusetts and the University of Connecticut.  The Gaiters will face-off with UMass at 7:50 p.m. on Feb. 16 and at 8:30 p.m. in Amherst, Mass.  They will then travel to Storrs, Conn. for a 7:45 p.m. faceoff with the University of Connecticut.

Bishop's (11-3-0)
The Gaiters played in the Lakehead Challenge two weekends ago.  They went 2-2 beating Iowa State (7-14-1) 3-2 and 7-1 and falling to Assiniboine College (18-7-0) 5-3 and Lakehead University (14-3-4) 4-1.
 
UMass (14-9-1, ACHA Division 1)
UMass is coming off two wins over the University of Colorado (20-7-1, ACHA Division 1) last weekend.  They won 3-2 and 3-0 at home.
 
UConn (1-7-1)
On Feb. 11 UConn lost 6-2 to Boston College (10-1-1).
 
Match up
This is the first time that the Gaiters and UMass will play. UMass is No. 8 in the ACHA Division 1 standings.  Bishop's beat Connecticut 4-1 before the Christmas break.
 
Next Up
Bishop's is next in action at home on Feb. 24^th at 6 p.m. and on Feb. 25^th at 9 a.m. to host the University of Connecticut in the Jane and Eric Molson Arena.
