STORRS, Conn. – The Bishop's University women's hockey team went 2-1 over the weekend. They fell 3-1 and 2-0 to the University of Massachusetts and beat the University of Connecticut 7-0.

UMass (16-9-1, ACHA Division 1) opened the scoring midway through the second period with back to back goals to take the 2-0 lead. Bishop's (12-5-0) answered with one of their own, by
Arianne Charette (Sainte-agathe-des-monts, Que. /The Winchendon School ) but UMass was able to hold on and extend their lead in the third. UMass took the first contest 3-1.
