Coach's Corner
"Friday is a big game for our program, for two reasons, we would like to end the regular season off on a positive note heading into the playoffs," said head coach
Craig Norman. "Concordia is always a formidable opponent, we have trouble matching up with their back court and they are tough and quick. We would like to finish the season off 8-8 if possible, which would be especially nice for our seniors. It is a big night for our program as four girls are playing their last game at home, Edith, Mara, Noemie and Maeva have sacrificed a great deal for our program, it is going to be a special night, an emotional night, and even a sad night but we plan to make it a special night for them."
Super Seniors
The Gaiters will be honoring four graduating players on Friday night, Noblecilla, Marchizotti,
Maeva Dinalle (Paris, France/) and
Noemie Hamel-Petit (Magog, Que./Champlain-Lennoxville). Thank you to these student athletes for their commitment and dedication to their sport and university in representing #GaiterNation.
Shoot for the Cure
The women's basketball team will be raising funds for Ruban Rose, the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation in support of the national Shoot for the Cure initiative.
