SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters women's basketball team is back on the court on Sunday, Feb. 11 at the PEPS in Quebec City against the Laval Rouge et Or at 1 p.m.
 
Last time out
The Gaiters (6-6 ) beat UQAM (4-9) 70-58 on Thursday night in Montreal.  Fifth year guard Edith Noblecilla (Guayaquil, Ecuador/Santo Domingo de Guzmain) led the Gaiters with 22 points and had six rebounds. Rookie Marie-Evrardine Berrouette (Montreal, Que./Dawson College) put up nine points and had seven rebounds. 
 
No. 5 Laval split their home-and-home series with No.4 McGill they won 64-56 at the PEPS and lost 56-52 in Montreal last weekend. 
 
Previous match ups
The Gaiters upset Laval 75-71 in Quebec City in their first match-up of the season.  In their second meeting the Rouge et Or got the better of the Gaiters taking the contest 57-52. 
 
Who to watch
Bishop's
Noblecilla is sixth in the conference averaging 12.6 points per game.  Mara Marchizotti (Buenos Aires, Argentina/) is fifth with 12.8 points. Berrouette is third in the RSEQ with 8.7 rebounds per game, first for rookies. 
 
Laval
Raphaelle Cote sits seventh in RSEQ with 12.2 points per game. Her teammate, Jane Gagne is behind her in eighth with 11.8 points per game; she is also ninth averaging 5.9 rebounds per game in the conference. 
 
Playoff Possibilities
Bishop's controls their own playoff destiny as a win over Laval will solidify their spot.  There are a number of other scenarios as a they will also clinch their first playoff berth since 2012 with a loss by Concordia or UQAM.

Next Up
Due to stormy weather in January, the Gaiters game on Sunday at Laval is a make up for a game on Jan. 5^th.  The game that was to be played on Saturday night in Mitchell gym against Laval will now be played on Tuesday, Feb. 13 in Mitchell Gym at 6 p.m.
