SHERBROOKE, QC – St. Mary's quarterback Kaleb Scott ran for two touchdowns and passed for another as the Huskies spoiled the Bishop's Gaiters home opener by a final of 42-19.
 
Saturday's loss dropped the Gaiters to 0-2 in the AUS, while the Huskies improve to 2-0.  
 
Game Highlights:
 
The Gaiters scored the first touchdown of the game thanks to a 32-yard pass from 
Mathieu Demers (Lévis, Que./Cégep LImoilou) to receiver 
Nathan Walker (Brampton, Ont./St. Roch C.S.S.) who out-muscled a Huskies' defender to make the game 8-3 in the first quarter.  Scott then took control over the 2
nd and 3
rd quarter leading the Huskies to four touchdowns and one field goal. The fourth quarter saw the teams' trade pick-sixes. Huskies' Jordan Angove had a 53-yard return while the Gaiters' 
Nicholas Cartagenise (Brampton, Ont./Toronto Jr. Argos (OFC)) took an pick back 82 yards.
