MONTREAL – The Bishop's women's basketball team hung in tough against the McGill Martlets in the first half, only trailing by three at the break. However, the Martlets offence would come alive in the second half and prove to be too much as they handed the Gaiters a 57-39 defeat.
Ashley Milhomme (Repentigny, Que./Cegep de Montmorency) led the way for the Gaiters scoring 12 points and finished the game as the lone Gaiter in double figures.
Gladys Hakizimana led all scorers with 17 points for the Martlets.
