MONTREAL– The Bishop's Gaiters women's soccer team closed out the 2019-20 season falling 4-2 to the Montreal Carabins on Sunday afternoon.
Marie-Pierre Beaudoin (Ottawa, Ont./John McCrae SS) scored in the 25
th minute to give the Gaiters the 1-0 advantage into the halftime break. The Carabins didn't let the lead last long as they came out to score four unanswered goals in the second half.
Kyra Simons (Hammonds Plains, N.S./Charles P. Allen HS) found the net in the 73
rd minute but the damage had been done. Montreal won 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Kayla Kyle (Vaudreuil-Dorion, Que./John Abbott College) was named MVP in the contest.
