PAXTON, Mass. –
Jessica Belanger (Sherbrooke/) scored twice and
Jade Shushu Saulnier-cyr (Shediac, N.B., Louis-J.-Robichaud) made 24 saves to earn the shutout as the Bishop's Gaiters skated past the Anna Maria College Amcats 5-0 on Saturday in an exhibition women's hockey game in Paxton, Mass.
Kayla LeTouzel (Vanleek Hill, Ont./St. Mary's C.H.S.),
Fallon Sholdice (Cartier, Man./Shaftesbury H.S.) and
Arianne Charette (Ste-Agathe, Que./Winchendon School) also found the back of the net for Bishop's who improve to 3-4-0 in exhibition games this year.
The Gaiters peppered Anna Maria College (NCAA DIII) with 51 shots.
Next up Bishop's is back in action south of the border when they are at Plattsburgh State on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
