LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters women's rugby team opens the 2019 RSEQ University season on Coulter Field on Sunday afternoon. McGill will be in town for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
New Year, New RSEQ Format
The RSEQ split into two division in 2019. The divisions are based off the 2018 results. It means that Bishop's will play home-and-home series against McGill, Concordia and Montreal. The top two teams in the standings will battle with the bottom two from the other division for a chance to play for an RSEQ Championship.
McGill
The Gaiters and Martlets played to a 26-26 draw on Coulter Field last year. Since 2013, Bishop's is 0-5-1 against McGill.
